„Ökonomie und Ideologie“ – Call for Abstracts – Verlängerung der Einreichungsfrist bis zum 31.7.2019

Ökonomie und Ideologie? –  „… Ideologie (ist) wie Mundgeruch immer das, was die anderen haben“ (Eagleton 2000: 8).

Für das im Metropolis-Verlag erscheinende Jahrbuch Ökonomie und Gesellschaft wollen wir wissenschaftliche Beiträge zum Thema „Ökonomie und Ideologie“ einwerben und veröffent­lichen. Wir bitten um Einreichung einer Zusammenfassung (Abstract von max. 1500 Wörtern) bis zum 31.7.2019.

Worum es geht

Wenn es empirisch zutrifft, dass sich die Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit Knappheit befassen, dann ist Streit über Theorien und Methoden, Wertungen und Gestaltungsmaßnahmen nahelie­gend oder gar unvermeidlich. Immer wieder taucht in den Auseinandersetzungen der Begriff der Ideologie auf. Nicht selten wird er als polemischer Kampfbegriff verwendet, der all dieje­nigen Aussagensysteme als ideologisch diskreditiert, die nicht den eigenen Vorstellungen entsprechen. The next “Club of Florence” workshop takes place on Friday, March 29 at the University of Florence. Attached you may find a call for contributions on “Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Employment Relations”. Please note that the deadline for workshop submissions is February 21, 2019. The XII European Regional Congress of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA) will take place in Düsseldorf on 5–7 September 2019 and intends to explore and analyse the changes in labour and employment relations across Europe and in a comparative perspective. Stable labour relations and welfare state protections have been perceived to be at the core of what has been named the European social model. Beginning in the 1990s, however, their foundations seem to have been weakened in many countries: We witness a decline in bargaining coverage, employer and union densities but also many efforts to restructure the welfare state as well as systems of labour market regulation.
